The location is superb! One can walk to the beach, the mall, and restaurants.
Having vacationed in Cape May most of my life, I knew exactly the area I wanted to stay in. This is it!
On the negative side, one bedroom is also the walk way to the third-floor bathroom. That bathroom has a shower under the dormer. So, you either have to be short or kneel in the bathtub to use the shower. Much of the furniture is old and in need of refurbishing.
The owner, however, is very responsive! The bed in one of the third-floor bedrooms was broken and couldn't be slept on the first night. Upon informing the owner, he immediately went out and delivered a brand-new bed for the room! The response time was excellent.
I would actually stay here again. I gave it a 3 star rating due to the bed and some other issues. However, the location is superb, and one has to expect repairs on a old, Victorian house. I don't think you can find another owner who was as quick to...
