The house is older but is very clean. Bedrooms are decent sizes. Entire house is air-conditioned! Plenty of places to hang out. We all loved the deck on the top of the sand dune. Perfect spot to see the Pt. Pleasant fireworks display! The house as a whole is decievingly larger that it looks! There are sand toys, chairs, bikes, tents in the basement. Also a washer and dryer. Vickie, the owner, was exceptionally helpful when it and answered any and all the questions I had. Pleasure to rent from her! What's really nice is that the house is a short distance from the boardwalk, thus eliminating the need to walk the boards everyday! Definitely saved us money! I highly recommend this rental! Oh. Bonus points for hiring a cleaning agency! The worst thing on check out day (other than vacation is over!) is having to clean for the next guests. Vickie has that under control! Yes, it's a pricey rental BUT it was awesome to be on the water, private beachfront,, have a ton of activities at your disposal and lots of space to spread out!

The great escape.
This place is a great escape. Amazing sunrises and amazing food/restaurants 5 minutes away. Walk or drive to the boardwalk and aquarium. Not too many people on the beach but even if the beach were to be crowded you have your own private beach area to spread your wings on. Plenty of bedrooms and space within the home.

Beachhouse
The house is exactly what we thought from the photos and description. Great location on the beach. The house is old but clean and very functional and completely air conditioned. Our favorite area is the deck with adirondack chairs.

Great place
This is a fantastic house. Comfortable and quiet. Great location. Beautiful beach. Close to everything in town but without the noisy crowds of other oceanside villages. You are guaranteed a great time here.

Relaxing beach house with an incredible view from the deck
We stayed there with family and friends. Extremely comfortable beds and the rooms were larger then expected. There is a big dinning room that easily accommodated everybody. The kitchen is well stocked.
The upper deck with the view of the ocean was my preferred spot, so relaxing!!
The owners were vey helpful with information on the area.
We had a wonderful experience
Can't wait to go back later this summer

Point Pleasant Beach has a main shopping area approx 1 mile from the house. The town has a 1 1/2 mile boardwalk. There are lots of restaurants, as well as antique stores. It has a large commercial fishing area, as well as fishing areas on the beach, inlet and river.
There are guarded beaches for swimming. The beach in front of the house does not have a life-guard.
