You will have a Two Bedroom Home in Ship Bottom, New Jersey - LBI Ocean Block Beach Rentals with your own private entrance; ten houses from beach. Fully furnished. Everything within walking distance – (restaurants, mini golf, shopping, crabbing, surf and bay fishing, marina, Jet Skiing, boating, etc.).

Unique/Inexpensive…LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!!
In this case, you get what you see. Things need updating, especially the couches which are uncomfortable. The entire house needs some tender loving care.If you are the kind of person that can deal with these types of things and go with the flow, it will do just fine. Some might find it charming and others may not. I think the condition of the house is appropriately reflected in the price. It was a generally comfortable stay and the location is absolutely amazing! The outdoor shower rocked!! We had never stayed in ship bottom before and we have fallen in love with this location. Especially since it’s so far north on the island providing easy access to the mainland, especially on the Saturday morning exodus!!
The owner was lovely and very responsive!

Worn Out but Clean
I struggle with writing a review for this cottage. The owner is quick to respond and patiently answered all my questions. The cottage was extremely clean and had everything we needed including a fully stocked kitchen and a gas grill. Steven also allowed us to bring our older dog which was priceless for our family. The home is on the beach block in a great location and there was plenty of parking for 2 cars.
However, the cottage is definitely worn - a huge rip in the sofa, doorknobs falling off, etc. We had a family of 5 adults/teens and the kitchen and bedrooms were a tight squeeze. The stairs were a little narrow and steep. It was fine for my family but you would want to take this into consideration for youngsters or older family members. The bathroom was in the master bedroom which could be inconvenient for those sleeping there.
All in all it was a good experience for our family and the price was right.

Perfect place for quiet rustic getaway
My sister and I spent 7 days at this cottage and it was exactly what we needed to recharge! It is two floors, plenty of room for a small cozy space. The fireplace was great to hang out in front of at night and the rooms had great morning light. The beach is extremely close. Also, the town is nice and quiet, everyone we interacted with was incredibly nice. The owner was really communicative and nice. Thanks Steven!

Old, Dirty and Smelly
The pictures tell the story. We were rooked by the pictures that made this place look good- what a mistake. Avoid!

Great place for a smaller group or family.
My family enjoyed our stay at your cottage. We loved how close we were to the beach and that we were close to the Dollar General, ice cream shoppe and Joey’s Pizza. We liked how cozy we all felt, the nice big family room and kitchen. Being so close to the beach have a nice ocean breeze through the house that we barely used the window unit ACs. A few things that should be updated in the Trip Advisor listing: there is no washer, dryer or dishwasher.

Close to the beach and bay
I was pleasantly surprised at how close the cottage is to the beach and bay. Especially the beach! Small but clean. Six people would be tight, especially with one bathroom. Outside shower helps. If the beach and convenience to food, bike and water activity rentals, shopping, etc. is what you are looking for than this cottage is a great deal!
