About the neighbourhood
The town of Cerrillos and the town of Madrid 2 miles away, are old historic mining towns. Our town has its own state park, riding stables, a great restaurant, one bar a Great gift shop called Cerrillos Station plus a few galleries. The town of Madrid is very colorful and is the number one day trip outside of Santa Fe. There are a few bars and restaurants lots of galleries coffee shop and live music almost every night. Santa Fe is about 25 minutes away.
How to get there
If you are coming from I 25 exit 278 Cerrillos Road toward Madrid ,which is also Highway 14. We are just off of Highway 14 Between mile marker’s 31 and 32. Approximately 15 miles off of I 25. Our road,Cerrillos Heights is the third road on your left once you pass the entrance to the town of Cerrillos on your right. There is a :-) sign at the end of our road. We are the second house on the right and there is a big blue number six and that is where you park. If you are coming from the airport in Albuquerque you will take I 25 north 4 miles to I 40 east. Stay on I 40 for 17 miles and exit at 175 towards Cedar Crest. You are now on Highway 14 mile marker one. We are between mile marker 31 and 32 on Highway 14 2 miles past the beautiful town of Madrid.
