Overview
Private Room, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 2
Glenwood, New Mexico
This enchanting oasis is the perfect place to relax and recharge. Art and Animals abound on this small organic farm and orchard. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub, gaze at the starry night sky and listen to the silence.

Nestled under a giant walnut tree and surrounded in a wonderland of flowering gardens (March - October); this enchanting and historic cabin was once a bunkhouse. Legend has it that Billy the Kid slept here; after all, Billy's step dad (William Antrim), owned the house next door.

The spacious studio floor plan is complete with a computer friendly table, chairs, sink, commode, closet, reading lights, lots of hooks and hangers. It accommodates one or two people comfortably in a Queen sized bed.. "Billy's Bungalow" is a medley of visual delights. From the large windows you can marvel at the spectacle of...

Interaction with guests
I am respectful of my guests' privacy and have created a place for renewal and relaxation.Having lived here most of my life, I know the hiking trails, fauna and flora of the area and love to share maps, stories and information. I am readily available, spending most of my time at home working on art projects, feeding animals, tending the gardens, or in my studio.

Hiking trails are out the front gate and down the road a bit.

The Neighborhood: The San Francisco River runs through our valley from the north; Whitewater and Mineral Creeks cascade from the east; the spectacular Mogollon Mountain Range outlines the sky. We are surrounded by the Gila National Forest and the first Wilderness area to be established in the United States.

Private cottage in riotously lush floral oasis. Owner Beth is the perfect hostess - available when needed for info on local attractions, places to eat, etc. but otherwise is out of sight. Property is a bird lover's paradise as well as a showcase for unique yard sculpture. Our only regret is that we did not get to spend more time...

Our host was wonderful, and extremely accommodating and we had a very nice time. This is a beautiful, comfortable bungalow (bed, toilet, sink in private room) in a gorgeous setting. There is also access to a nice shower room and a 'living area' (comfortable seating, cooking facilities....great for relaxing, and covered, but open to the outdoors). In the spring through...

We spent 7 nights at Billy's Bungalow in Oct. Beth Menczer is a warm and gracious host, who greeted us upon arrival. The Bungalow is private, comfortable and beautifully decorated with stunning views of the mountains. Her covered Peacock patio has full kitchen amenities. Horses and a menagerie of other animals lend a pastoral feel. Entertainment included her tree climbing...
