Cottage
Chateau de Bournand is a very quiet and comfortable spot to spend a few days or more in our beautiful region. The chateau is located in a small village, near most of the famous Loire Valley Castles (Chinon, Rigny-Ussé, Azay le Rideau, etc) and close many wineyards and interesting places to visit, as troglodytic houses. You can rest after a full day in our 9 acres park with hundred-years-old trees with private terraces in front of most of the rooms, sunbathe on a deck chair at the edge of the swimming-pool. It is a perfect location to spend nice holidays with your family or your friends. All the 4 bedrooms are large, comfortable, with ensuite bathroom and private entrance, what ensures you intimacy and tranquillity. This Cottage is up to 10, but we can accommodate larger groups up to 16, with a 2nd Cottage in the same property.

The Cottage is perfect for a large family or 2 families with children, because all the rooms are independent from one another, so everybody has its privacy. The whole park is closed and the pool secure with a locked door. We are happy to provide you a baby cot, changing table and high chair if necessary. A baby sitter can be available, on demand. Pets are welcome, on request. Smoking is forbidden inside the building as everywhere in France, but smokers will find ash trays outside.

Chateau de Bournand is located in the Loire Valley, close to most of the main famous chateaux, as Chinon, Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry, Ussé (the Sleeping Beauty Castle). We have good wines in the area, as Chinon, Saumur, Saumur-Champigny, Coteaux du Layon or Cremant de Loire, a well-known sparkling wine which is one of our specialities, troglodytic houses as well. You also can do many sports all around, as horse riding, golf courses, canoe kayak or just walking or biking.
