Banner Elk area PET FRIENDLY mountain home located high in the Appalachian Mountains at 3,800 foot elevation with beautiful long-range mountain view. Cool summer temperatures, gorgeous fall colors and winter sports including 3 ski areas within easy distance. 4WD REQUIRED TO ACCESS THIS CABIN IN WINTER!! Three bedroom, two bath home is located on a private drive in a quiet rural area. Home is completely furnished, sleeping six comfortably on 2 queen size beds and 2 bunk beds. Wi-Fi internet access with TV, DVDs and games and puzzles available to entertain adults and children. 2 person infrared Sauna (replaced the hot tub in 2013), massage recliner, Foosball table and campfire pit add to the fun. Nice and secluded!
Very secluded with a nice view off the front porch. We enjoyed our stay. Homeowner had no problem working with our last minute planning

Relaxing and Peaceful
We enjoyed our stay. It had a wonderful view and we really enjoyed watching all of the Humming Birds. We came to hike the mountains and there were plenty of trails to hike.

Vacation Review
The house is in a beautiful location, we have stayed there twice and the house is always clean and well furnished. John has always been great to deal with and very responsive to any request. The only negative we have whch is very minor is the livingroom furniture which is uncomfortable and the water pressure was a little low. The next time we vacation in that area we will stay at the house if it is available.

Hummingbird heaven
CLEAN! Secluded! Well equipped.
We rented the house for a weekend and found it secluded yet with good access to several more urban areas. The hot tub was a wonderful plus. We recommend highly.

Great mountain location, quiet and comfortable.
Our stay was short and we were extremely busy, but it was nice to come "home" to this quiet and comfortable place.

Pleasant
We had a wonderful time at Banner Elk. The house is
secluded and has a beautiful view of the mountains.
It rained for most of our stay but we were cozy and
happy in the house. Beautiful flowers and plenty of
hummingbirds at the feeder. It is at a good spot, if
you want privacy, comforts of home and an awesome
massage chair! The owners were very friendly and
helpful during our stay. If we go back to Banner Elk
(highly recommended area in general!) we would
definitely be back to this house. Thank you!!!

About the neighbourhood
We are located off Spice Creek Rd., Banner Elk, NC. We are on the side of a mountain in a heavily forested area with a long range view. Our driveway is gravel and rises steeply for 3/10 mile from the paved road below. There are a couple of sharp turns on the drive. There is a flat parking area large enough for 2 or 3 cars in front of the house. There are several other houses on the same driveway, but far enough away to ensure privacy. It's a 20 minute drive to "downtown" Banner Elk, and 30 minutes to Boone, NC.
