Beautiful house and welcoming owners
The house has a super cute rustic feel! Everything we needed was there including pots, pans, linens and towels, etc. Evelyn was very helpful and responsive to messages and we felt extremely welcome. The deck/porch is gorgeous and the photos do not do it justice. Only a 15 minute drive to Asheville or perfect for a stay at home getaway. Thank you so much and we hope to visit again soon!

Beautiful Home!
This home was amazing! It is a very spacious home! Great furniture in all rooms as well. I loved the open windows! I am definitely going to book this home again for vacations in the future!

Nice location
The house is very close to Black Mountain. Our group enjoyed the shops and dining there more than we did Asheville. It’s such a cute town. The house was very clean and comfortable. I loved having the linens provided and not having to meet for a key. Evelyn was very responsive when I sent her messages and answered all of our questions. She was so pleasant!

Evelyn is the Best!!!
Great house! Evelyn was the best Host. She answered all of our questions. This house was close to everything. we would definitely rent this house again.

Good Value for Black Mountain/Old Fort area
Even though there's no mountain view from the wraparound porch, the porch, rocking chairs, outdoor dining table and gas grill were the big hit of this house, especially considering that the living room is a bit small and doesn't has seating for 8 unless you move some dining room chairs. There are a few more small issues that someone could gripe about, like not enough plates and bowls, but overall it was a good value for a 4-bdrm house with 3 full bathrooms and nice bedding and furnishing at a great location for visiting the greater Asheville to Lake James area.

Black Mountain is rapidly changing from a small mountain town to a tourist attraction. It's small shops and nice restaurants are popular. Also, we are about 20 minutes from Asheville. One of the popular attractions there is the Biltmore House. In the house you will find a "guest information" book which will provide you with suggestion for restaurants and attractions.

The house is just about two blocks off Interstate 40. It is in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street. You can call me if you need other guidance.
