This cabin has a deer motif. This two bedroom two bath cabin faces the mountains (sleeps six) has air conditioning, heat, gas fireplace, fans, dinning table and chairs, a kitchen, 2 full size baths, queen beds in both bedrooms, leather furniture in the living room with a couch bed large covered porch with porch furniture. The kitchen is fully equipped; refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, pots and pans. There is an outside picnic area with grill and picnic table. Shared fire pit nearby. Linen and towels are provided.

Christmas in a cabin in the mountains
We wanted a nice old time Christmas and this cabin met all our expectations. The cabin was spacious, we had 4 adults 2 kids under 10 and 2 dogs. With the location of the cabin it was an easy drive to Bryson City, Cherokee and over the mountain to Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge. On one of our trips we saw a herd of elk laying beside the creek and we also saw a bear up in the mountains.

Nantahala Cabins is centrally located in North Carolina’s Great Smoky Mountains in the Nantahala Gorge, Bryson City, North Carolina on Highway 19/74 West, 2 miles West of Highway 28 North, 2.5 miles East of the take-out of the Nantahala River. We are between Andrews/Murphy to the West and Bryson City to the East. Nearby attractions include white water rafting, mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing, swimming, and skiing on Fontana Lake, hiking on the Appalachian Trail, antiquing, and the Cherokee Indian Reservation.
