Ocean's Nine West has lots of curb appeal, so I'll start with the positive, beautiful pool & private hot tub, and outside full bathroom, which was perfect for all our kids. Huge backyard with volleyball net, beautiful green grass, which is in short supply around the are. We had plenty of private space too, utilizing 4 of the 5 bedrooms. It was clean too (with the exception noted below). We loved the partial ocean view and the outside decks. It was our fault that we didn't notice the "bunk" room we had planned to use for the kids was on the 1st floor when we booked. It is situated too close to the hot-tub & pool for us to feel comfortable leaving a 6 & 4 year old there.
The carpet - just icky. Enough said. Why no king sized beds? The 1st floor master could certainly accommodate one. All the mattresses were well-worn and lacked any support. The kitchen was well-appointed (thank you!), but tight for 6 adults and 3 children as was the livingroom.
Our linen package provided much nicer towels this year, but not a single washcloth!

There were three things that bothered me about your company concerning this reservation,that had nothing to do w/the house.
1]I got a email from your co. stating my reservation would be canceled for nonpayment of balance.you had the payment but mail had not been checked before email sent.
2]called sara on 7/1 stating need lp gas on 7/2 and did not receive till 7/3
3]we locked all doors@packing up.we wanted to double check house thinking to go through keycodeddoor,but could not this door inoperative exact@10 am

Nice house, pool, location - but...
We actually stayed in this property once before approx 4 years ago - it's a nice house, big yard, nice pool, nice bedrooms, easy walk to beach, etc. The house could stand updating, same carpet, furniture, etc. as from our prior stay, and it shows it. Internet access only worked intermittently, and the housekeeping wasn't the best - stained bedspread, mildew on one shower curtain, slow drain in one tub, sand on laundry area floor, empty propane tank, and a few other minor items. But overall we really enjoyed our stay and the house, it is very comfortable with a very convenient location.

Comfy & Accomodating
Definately will be a return rental! Great house with everything you could need except for a little radio for the hot tub / pool area. But no biggie, next year we will know to bring one with us. Don't mean to sound greedy at all, it was just that will all the other extra features of this home, we thought maybe we'd find a little radio in there.

Awesome!
The house was everything the agent said! Great ocean view. Plenty of entertainment. Volleyball, Horseshoe, Pool, Basketball, on a quiet street just minutes from the beach! Love not having to bring linens, towels. Great family vacation and close to everything! Thanks to the owners & OuterBlue!

Outerbanks repeat visitor
I love this house. This is the second time we have visted and specially requested this house. I really like that it sits on a nice quiet street. Two streets over is the beach, making it a 5 min walk. Close to the movie theater, shopping center and most resturants. Has a great pool and hot tub. Outerbanks Blue keeps it spotless!!! Need to check the gas on the grill, which is showing its age, but other than that small complaint (they refunded us for the gas) everything is perfect.

Plenty to do
With the hot tub, volleyball net, large yard, swimming pool, foosball table, basketball hoop, pool/card table, many decks, and short walk to beach ... it would be impossible to be bored!

What a great place!!
I really hate to say how nice this place was because then it won't be there next time we want it. The description on the Outer Banks Blue web site was spot on. The house was great and dealing with Outer Banks Blue was the best. They are class all the way. I would stay in this home over and over again and I will only deal with Outer Banks Blue in the future.

Great Beach House!
Ocean's Nine West provided our family a fabulous Outer Banks vacation. It was our first visit to the OBX and it was a great experience. The house is filled with ammenities, it was clean and conveninent to EVERYTHING! Only with our vacation lasted longer.

Private Pools are open from May 3, 2024 until October 13, 2024 and May 2, 2025 until October 12, 2025. Pool heat is not an option for this property. Hot tubs are available year-round. Gas fireplaces are shut down from May 15 until September 15. Fireplace seen in photos is non-functioning and not available for use.
All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.
