Surrounded by the majestic views of the lake and mountains, you'll be able relax and create memories. This 3 story, original hand-hewn log structure has been disassembled and restored by the hit TV series Barnwood Builders, and placed on the historical Lake Lure. The renovation of this fort that was built in 1770's, involved updating the home with all the modern amenities and latest technology, but keeping all the original historical beauty. The main level consists of the kitchen, which is fully equipped and includes high-end, stainless-steel appliances. The living room with a large screen tv over the fireplace is the perfect place to gather. A large dining table with seating for up to 8 overlooks the lake through the French doors. Step out onto the deck for additional dining space and take in the view of the lake and mountains. With four bedrooms and four and a half baths, there will be plenty of room for up to 10 guests. Three guest rooms are on the third level each with their owner bathroom, the fourth is on the lower level with a bunk bed. Another family gathering space is here as well with another big screen tv. You have private lake front access with outdoor toys to enjoy fun on the lake. Also available for rent for an additional fee is a 24 foot pontoon which can accommodate up to 13 people.
