Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.
Holiday rental reviews collected via the VRBO website (formerly Homeaway) and syndicated to the Tripadvisor website are not currently subject to Tripadvisor’s standard moderation processes.

Cosy cottage - well located!
Almond Tree Cottage was perfect for our 3 nights in the Barossa Valley. It is well located (just up the road from Saltram winery) which made getting to the wineries and attractions easy. The ample breakfast provisions were perfect for our 3 mornings and the cottage is well maintained and clean. I'd happily stay here again.

Perfect base for a Barossa break
We loved this cottage. I found it by chance, having booked dinner at nearby Vintner's Bar and Grill (separately reviewed), I looked for a place to stay in the vicinity and found Almond Tree Cottage. Which was perfect. It's tastefully appointed and equipped, and spotlessly clean. The good sized kitchen/dining room and lounge/bedroom along with a generous bathroom provided a great place to call home as we alternated between hanging out in the cottage and venturing out to sightsee, go to restaurants and go to wineries. Conveniently located on Angaston Road only a couple of kms from Angaston, the cottage is set back from the road and very private, almost bucolic in fact. And we felt the rate to represent very good value. Book through the Barossa Visitor Centre. We really enjoyed driving out to Eden Valley along a very scenic route; dining at nearby Vintners for dinner and at Fermentasian in Tanunda for lunch; wine tasting at Langmeil and Kalleske; coffee at Red Door Espresso; shopping at Maggie Beer Farm Shop; and . . . hanging out at Almond Tree Cottage.

well appointed, peaceful and comfortable
This was an ideal overnight stay for a couple in the Barossa. Set back from the main road so easy to find but nevertheless a quiet country location in between Nuriootpa and Angaston.

Cosy, get-away cottage
We enjoyed our 2 day stay at this lovely little cottage well located between Nuriootpa and Angaston. The owners were friendly, the cottage was spotless, well set out and plenty of provisions for breakfast. We would highly recommend this accommodation for couples who want to get-away for a few days. The kitchen is well equipped if you wish to self-cater or the location is perfect if you prefer to eat at near-by restaurants or wineries.
