Picture a rustic-style farmhouse, complete with solid red bricks, wide windows and wooden fixtures throughout - but with a newly refurbished contemporary bathroom and full air-conditioning for a touch of modern luxury.
Upon arrival you may enter through the laundry, or take the scenic route via the garden, vineyard and terrace courtyard to enter into the kitchen area, which is equipped with a dishwasher and brand-new induction stovetop, and soaks up the sun all day long through its French doors and windows.
The open-plan dining room and living area is fitted out with top of the range furnishings, beautiful, locally hand-painted artwork, a Smart TV and a log fire for your enjoyment in winter. This room has a stunning outlook through wide, East-facing windows onto the back garden, vineyards and beyond - perfect for admiring the rolling hills of the Valley or even some rabbit-spotting!
Just across the hall from here is the secondary lounge room, with cupboards stocked with boardgames, books, DVDs and CDs for every taste. There is also another small TV, and Casa Rossa's hidden gem - our record player, and stacks upon stacks of classic vinyls, from Little River Band to Fleetwood Mac to INXS.
Along the rest of the hallway is the newly renovated bathroom (with bathtub), and the three bedrooms. The master bedroom with queen bed shares the living area's breathtaking views and is warmed and lit by the sun all day long. The second bedroom also has a queen bed, and the third contains two singles. All bedrooms are equipped with storage units for your clothes and other belongings.
Make sure you make the most of the outdoor dining and terrace area, accessed via the kitchen! Fitted out with a BBQ and rustic stone outdoor furnishings, and looking out onto Casa Rossa's stunning private vista, it is the perfect spot to entertain, unwind and drink in the beauty that is the Barossa.
The house has reverse cycle air conditioning throughout, so no matter what time of year you visit you are sure to be comfortable. There is space for two cars along the driveway beside the vineyard, and a third spot should you need it near the garage off the main drive onto the property.

a very cosy and relaxing stay during a cold period of the year
A well appointed and roomy house in a very central location when visiting the Barossa
private on a large block with views over a small vineyard that attracted Kangaroos in the afternoon.

Beautiful accommodation in a great spot as wineries near by. Amenities were great: fireplace, air con, beds, bathrooms kitchen dining and lounges great for our stay of 5 ladies but would b awesome for a few families staying together also. Very clean and lovely welcome basket with wine coffee cheese milk eggs bacon etc provided. Would highly recommedn this accommodation.

About the neighbourhood
Lyndoch is a small but thriving town in the heart of the Barossa Valley, and is growing and improving constantly. From the property, it is about a twenty minute scenic walk into town, or a speedy five minute drive.
You should be able to stock up on most things in Lyndoch, especially if you are in need of a quick fix. Make sure you get to the Lord Lyndoch bistro for dinner!
If you are a foodie, Tanunda and Angaston are not to be missed. FermentAsian, 1918, Harvest Kitchen and Vintners of Barossa are just some of the most fantastic places to eat in the Barossa Valley, and all are within a twenty minute drive from Casa Rossa.
Getting around
If you are able to hire a car, we recommend you do so! It is the best way to access the magic of the Barossa, especially from Casa Rossa, which is less than a twenty minute drive from some of the Valley's most fantastic towns - and some of South Australia's most exquisite restaurants!
