Appropriately named The Nancy Ann, this gorgeous modern home is situated amongst an abundance of Topsail Island’s beloved oak trees, overlooking the sparkling water of the Topsail Sound. The Nancy Ann is a unique home that was built a few years ago with serenity in mind. The numerous windows throughout the living areas creatively bring the sound in, and the metal roof enhances its naturistically conforming theme. The interior design of The Nancy Ann has an eclectic feel through the use of the old doors, sinks, tub, decorative wood paneling, furniture, and dishware. The kitchen offers concrete countertops, stainless steel appliances and plenty of room for entertaining. The open concept of this floor promotes active conversation and family togetherness. Swoon over the gorgeous wood floors throughout. On the ground level, there is an outside shower and storage closet filled with beach toys and chairs for your use. On the first floor, you will enjoy the huge porch and relaxing porch furniture. This level includes the kitchen, living room, laundry room, and bathroom. On the second floor, there are two bedrooms with queen-sized beds which share a Jack and Jill bathroom. The third bedroom on this floor has a twin over twin bunk and a private bathroom. On the third floor, there is the expansive master suite with breathtaking views of the Topsail Sound, a large master bathroom with a spacious shower, and a private balcony where the views go on for miles. Enjoy the stars at night or a morning coffee. For added comfort, the master bedroom has a queen-sized Sleep Number bed, zzz. Additionally, on this level, there is a private office for the guests that might find themselves having to work. The Nancy Ann also has many smart characteristics to include, 3 HVAC systems, tankless water heater, and water softener. And to ensure your mind and soul stay on vacation, there are three zones of wired speakers. Imagine yourself relaxing on the porch, patio, or dock. You can expect to see plenty of wildlife; one of our favorites to watch are the osprey who nest every spring/summer and then head back to Mexico in the late fall. The dock is perfect for fishing, paddle-boarding, kayaking, or swimming. Keep an eye out for dolphins. They can typically be seen a few times a week if not once a day (spring through fall). There is a public beach access about 200 yards from the home. There will always be plenty of space for you to set up for the day; the privacy on the beach always surprises our visitors. The Nancy Ann boasts water play, family time and does not provide cable. INTERNET PROVIDED - ROKU DEVICE AVAILABLE FOR STREAMING YOUR PAID SUBSCRIPTIONS. Great location for both sound front activities and close walk to beach
Loved the location of the house. Furnishings and kitchen equipment could stand to be updated. Had to go and buy forks because there were only 5 forks total for our party of 8.

Vacation Rental
This house is in a great location with amazing views and amenities. The bunk beds are horrible. Super bad mattresses - when you even touch them you feel every spring. We went and bought an air mattress for two of the kids to sleep on and doubled up in another room. Also- came home with many bites. Called the management company and they have not returned our call. (Bed Bugs!- taking all precautions when getting home to not bring them into our own home has taken another week of unpacking and thoroughly cleaning.) Also- upon arrival had to clean the floors in the living room/kitchen. There was food, sand and dirt. (Have photos to support- it was a huge mess) Three baby toys left behind that were never picked up by the cleaning crew. Many of the issues were Sea Shore Realty Groups. They hire the cleaning crews and the home can be properly exterminated. Other than that- location was awesome

Great House, great location
We rented this house in July 2018 - family of 6, two adults and 4 kids - 11, 10, 6. & 5. We chose it because of the dock and location - we prefer sound-side houses as we have little children and don't like to worry constantly about the currents/waves. Check in was easy, traffic wasn't bad - even for a prime day and time. The house has a lovely layout - but there some serious steps to get to bedrooms etc. First floor has Kitchen/living/half bath and deck. Second floor has two queen bedrooms with jack/jill bathroom and kids room (bunks) and third floor is master suite - office, lovely bedroom and big bathroom with enclosed shower (no bathtub) and deck. All the appliances worked, the house came with lots of amenities - wireless speakers on first floor and decks, 2 person kayak, beach toys, chairs etc. The AC was sufficient for hot hot days. The beach is up the lane and across the street - super easy. The dock was nice - had several areas to jump off - ***the only issue - it's a boating lane so you have to be very careful jumping out as boats go flying by and way too close*** but the area closer to shore is sandy (occasional oyster shells) and really nice. Deep enough we could dive off at high tide and stand and wade around at low. Fishing was okay - it was a hurricane so there were some limitations, and crabbing was great - rock crabs and blues. Only issues: Need deck furniture on upper deck and a picnic table on the lower one. The bugs weren't an issue due to the constant breeze so eating outside would be pleasant. They should have painted the interior with a more stain-resistant paint or maybe a higher gloss - light fingerprints showed. Better instructions for renters (you grill is in the room that looks locked by the carport but isn't, how to use speakers, etc.) Overall we were super pleased and if it's available next year we will rent it again.

Family Vacation
Excellent house on the shore with access to beach directly across the main street. Plenty of space for family/friends to visit inside the open kitchen area and outside on porch on the second floor. There is a firepit by the back deck with space for chairs. Plenty of bathrooms and showers including an outside shower under the stairs with hot water. Cool doors through out the house. Highly recommend this property.

Exquisite rental on the sound!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - such a close walk to the beach with amazing costal views. Beautiful sunsets, quiet and private indoor and outdoor space, and a truly restful Thanksgiving. We hope to be back again!
