This semi-detached stone barn, set on a working sheep farm, has been lovingly restored over the past 3 years. Accommodation is over 3 floors with open plan kitchen and living spaces and generous bedroom accomodation, all connected by an elegant staircase.Upper ground floor houses a spacious living area with breath-taking views over the Duddon estuary and surrounding mountains through a large, double height, picture window, a fantastic space to watch an often dramatic sunset.The kitchen and dining spaces at lower ground level connect with an intimate landscaped yard, ideal for BBQs.With great access to walks and local villages this bespoke barn is a great base for anyone wanting a real taste of the South Lakes region.

This property is not suitable for children under 5 years of age due to open wooden staircases and hard slate floors.

How to get there
Railway: Ulverston: 11.0 km
From the M6 follow A590 towards Barrow in Furness. At Greenodd take A5092 towards Workington and Whitehaven, Follow this for 7 miles. You will pass a bright yellow house on the right continue on down the hill for about half a mile. On the left you will see a large blue traffic sign warning of 1045 casualties in five years on the A590. There is a track on the left directly before this sign, turn onto it and follow it to the end over two cattle grids. You will see the barn on your right.
