The living accommodation is on the first floor to take advantage of the glorious views of the rural landscape and the Mill Pond from the cottage. The bedroom is located on the ground floor with a super king sized bed to provide a great nights sleep. Perfect for couples but this can be separated in to two twin beds upon prior request. Additionally there is an occasional use sofa bed in the living room that would suit one adult or up to 2 young children/ teenagers. It is a great base for exploring the Peak District. There are lovely walks straight from the doorstep so that you do not need to rely on using your car.The River Derwent passes near to Leadmill and there is a picturesque bridge just 2 minutes away from the cottage from where you can take pleasant riverside walks through ancient woodland. It is a very short walk to the local shops, cafes and bars in Hathersage. Hathersage is a popular choice for walkers, cyclists and climbers. There are plenty of walking routes, cycling trails, abseiling, climbing and riding routes close to the cottage.More
