We stayed here for one night in August. Arrived in Daylesford to torrential rain so contacted host who was lovely enough to let us in a little earlier. On arrival found the cabin to be so toasty warm! there was a chilled bubbles in the fridge waiting.
The loft had such a lovely homely feel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Anniversary holiday
Enjoyed Cosy cottage next to Hepburn springs, actually in the middle between springs & center city! The 2 story footage was well equipped with all utilities that you would use at home. The central heating was down so we had to use

Cozy and welcoming..
We arrived at Briars Loft on a cold rainy day, and found the heating on which for us was a treat, many thanks for that. The loft itself was really lovely simply, could not fault it. Unfortunately, we were not able to sit outside and enjoy the outdoor area, but looks like a great space for a barbecue etc. All in all, it’s a cozy and very comfortable place to stay, and would highly recommend it. Cosy Apartment in Daylesford
We arrived with heaters on n and a beautiful warm apartment in a quiet location. Kitchen and lounge were well equipped and bed was very comfortable and bathroom was neat tidy and clean. Highly recommend

Very Cosy Loft
We could stay only for the night but we had a great time at Briars Loft. The loft was warm and cosy. It was super clean as well! It had pretty much everything you needed. Only small downside for me was not able to use hair dryer in the bathroom of the two single bedroom as there was no plug. But otherwise it was a beautiful place to have a get away.

Gorgeous Cottage & great hosts!
Cottage was extremely homely and clean. The heating was fantastic given Daylesford can get rather cold. This cottage is completely self contained and has everything you could need and more. Di & Duncan were great hosts, instructions were clear and communication was frequent when we had questions.

Wedding Anniversary
This was our second time staying at Briars Loft and once again it did not disappoint. A beatitful little gem just outside of town, like your own secluded country getaway. Very relaxing, and certainly did not want to come home to reality. Thanks Di and Duncan.

Very Relaxing

Beautiful place to wind down
Beautiful place to stay in Daylesford/ Hepburn. Very quiet and spacious. Would definitely return there in the future.

Daylesford and Hepburn (neighbouring town) is famous for its mineral springs. One of our favourite places is the Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa, which is only a 5-minute drive from Briars Cottage. Visitors can enjoy anything from private healing mineral baths, to massages, facials, body wraps and polishes, manicures and pedicures.
We can totally recommend the Sanctuary, which is not the public bath house.

Daylesford is 115km from Melbourne.
From Melbourne CBD on Western Highway
Drive over the Westgate & take the Western Ring Rd. Take the Western Hwy exit marked Ballarat. Drive for about an hour until you reach the Ballan/Daylesford turnoff. When you're off the highway turn right. You'll be heading towards Daylesford.
From Melbourne CBD on Calder Highway
Drive to the Tullamarine Fwy merge left to the Calder Highway towards Bendigo. Take the turn off to Woodend and drive through the town, Turn left to Daylesford. Drive on for about 20km. When you hit Tylden, drive 1km then turn right into the Daylesford Rd and drive for 20km.
The cottage is between Daylesford and Hepburn Springs.
