Stunning place to stay felt more like home than accommodation, very clean all amenities, comfy bed, five minutes from town, breakfast with the birds outside.

A sanctuary for plant, animal and bird life, and people who simply want to be at one with nature.
One of the most amazing owner-builder homes we have ever stayed in. A 10 out of 10 for tasteful decor, comfortable living and beautiful surrounds. Wildlife abounds from early morning to late night. The little personal touches made the stay all that more special from fresh flowers to select toiletries, real butter, homemade jam and eggs from the chooks. We actually saw a kookaburra wrestle a snake out of the ground. Pat and Glenene are probably two of the nicest people on the planet. They cannot do enough for you. Time passes slowly and is worth savoured in this setting. I can't recommend a stay highly enough.

Our mini escape while going to a wedding
Just loved this place and our hosts were excellent so much understanding of the local area and just loved the local produce given to us especially the pumpkin Sitting on the deck on a winters day in the sun was great The whole apartment has so much room and loved the fire too A Must stay place and within walking distance to the brewery

Home away from home
Beautiful stay in the deluxe apartment with friendly and thoughtful host. Extra touches on arrival were much appreciated- fire going and fresh produce (delicious fresh eggs) and essentials. Clean, comfortable and definitely relaxing. Definitely recommended to stay at PK illusions and will be returning in the future! AJ and Campbell

Very comfortable and private B & B with everything well catered for.
A lovely outdoor area in a leafy setting as well as friendly hosts. The spacious rooms and generous breakfast provisions were most appreciated. Glenene and Pat have done a wonderful job - Thankyou

Caring under the circumstances
Modern, spacious and comfortable is this accommodation. The hosts are friendly, caring and extremely helpful. We arrived on the day cyclone Debbie's remnants passed close by and delivered wind rain and an exciting experience. Our hosts Pat and Glenene could not of been more helpful and understanding doing their upmost to make our stay memorable. Once the storm passed all was well. A great place to stay. We'll be back.

The attention to little details was amazing
If you're looking for a central location with the perfect hosts you've just found it. You stay in an apartment attached to the main house on an acre of land and it's surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The owners were perfect hosts - nothing was too much trouble and they were the loveliest people. This is fantastic value for money. The only downside was that we stayed on the hottest day of the year and there was no air con. Normally this wouldn't be a problem as there is a fireplace inside and out for those lovely chilly Maleny nights.

So Much Attention To Detail
Beautiful apartment with everything you could want, so many thoughtful gestures are left for you, fudge, port, fresh eggs, bacon, croissants, by lovely friendly owners. Even fresh flowers everywhere, magazines, books, beautiful soap & body products. One night is not enough to enjoy the peaceful & tranquil hideaway. We will be visiting again.
