About the neighbourhood
The property is less than 5 minutes’ drive to a handful of wineries and restaurants including Beresford Estate, Woodstock, Geddes Wines, the Currant Shed and The General Wine Bar. It is on the boundary of the Onkaparinga River National Park and several walking tracks are easily accessible from our property. McLaren Vale is less than 10 minutes away and gateway to award winning wineries and the Fleurieu Peninsula. The rugged coastline is stunning with endless unspoiled beaches, golden sand and sparkling, clear waters.
Getting around
Ours is a rural property and not close to public transport. Ubers and wine tours can be booked to take you throughout the region and details of drivers are supplied in the information folder. We are also more than happy to provide assistance and local knowledge on where to go and how to get there.

How to get there
Our property is easily accessible off Blewitt Springs Rd and well signed. If you are driving from Adelaide via the Southern Expressway, turn onto Victor Harbor Rd and turn left into Seaview Rd. Continue along for approximately 6kms (Seaview Rd turns into Kays Rd) until Whitings Rd. From here you have the choice of turning either left or right onto Whitings Rd. Turning left is quicker and more direct, however the road is gravel and not always well maintained so can be potentially damaging to your car. If you choose this way, drive along Whitings Rd for approximately 2.5kms (you will actually start to drive alongside our property on your right, towards the end). You will come upon the A frame sign at the entrance of the side driveway- turn in right and you’ll see the house. If you decide to turn right onto Whitings Rd (longer but kinder to your car unless you have a 4WD), continue straight until you get to Blewitt Springs Rd. Turn left and continue until you get to the Beresford Tasting Pavilion (on your right) - take a left again to stay on Blewitt Springs Rd and travel along for approximately 2.5kms until you come to our property (from the road you can actually see the house up on the hill). The accommodation sign is at the entrance next to the red letterbox. Turn left into the driveway and follow it up to the house. Our place is easy to find with Google Maps!
