Please note that the pool can be heated up to 24 Celsius at the additional cost of 80 Euros per day, at least for a 3-day period in advance. Please inform us about one week before arrival in case you would like to have the pool heated.

Incredible place to relax and enjoy the surrounding area
We had the most amazing 10 days in these wonderful villas. Every possible thing you could want is there when you arrive. We were collected from the airport, lunch was made, the fridge was full and cold beers in the fridge.
The villa is lovely but the pool and outside area is totally amazing! Gabby is a wonderful host and can’t do enough for you.
Both villages are within easy walking distance which offer tavernas, bars and restaurants.
I will definitely be back!

Fabulous Villa and host
This is a fantastic small group of 4 Villas. Gabby was a brilliant and welcoming host. She arranged everything including airport collection efficiently via WhatsApp. The Villa exceeded our expectations and was comfortable, clean and had everything for a fabulous 2 week stay. The pool was perfect, the kitchen well equipped ( including ice maker) and bathrooms and showers were great for a family of 4 adults. The Wi-Fi was best we’ve had in Greece. The area had some very authentic tavernas and a 25 min walk down hill to Hersonissos to the KTEL bus route meant we could visit Heraklion and Elounda easily. Lovely holiday would return happily.

Perfekter Urlaub
Wir sind jetzt zum 3. Mal in einer dieser Ferienhäuser und waren jedes Mal begeistert. Super freundliche Gastgeberin und traumhaftes, voll ausgestattetes Haus mit schönem Garten und eigenem Pool. Mehr als man hier bekommt, kann man sich nicht wünschen. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.
Tipp: Man kann bei den Besitzern auch Autos mieten ;)

Großartiger Aufenthalt
Toller Urlaub in einem großartigen Haus, an dem es an nichts fehlte.
Wenn doch, unsere Gastgeberin hätte es sofort organisiert.

The best villa I've ever stayed in!
We had such a wonderful, relaxing stay at Pandora Villas. Everything from the pick up at the airport, being greeted by Gaby at the villa to the fridge full of treats and homemade moussaka waiting for us was such a perfect way to start our holiday.
The villa itself is spacious and the best equipped villa I've ever stayed in and the pool area is so relaxing (my daughters lived in the pool basically!)
The area is so quiet and only a short 15 minute walk into Old Hersonnisos with traditional Greek tavernas.
It was hard leaving the villa to go and explore but then the car hire was included in the price of the villa so it was great to go off and snorkel at Sarandari Coves and Sissi and Milatos. The kids loves the local water park!
Gaby is so lovely and Pandora Villas really was a home from home.
We really didn't want to leave and a week isn't enough time to enjoy this gorgeous place!
I can't recommend Panodra Villas enough. We'll definitely be back!

A Place to Revisit
Gaby is a very welcoming and helpful host. She could not have done more for us. With trips to and from the airport and the offer of short lifts (if required). She also set us up with a hire car to travel around the island with. We had a beautiful dish of moussaka and well stocked fridge/cupboards awaiting our arrival. Gaby was always close at hand to answer any questions we had.
The villa itself was beautiful and had everything and more that we required. I stayed with a family of 6, with 1 14yr old and 1 10yr old. Situated in a quiet area with the option of walking/driving to the livelier port of Hersonissos. We walked to the small villages of Piskopiano and Koutouloufari most days.
As we arrived in April, which is the quieter season, a lot of taverna's were closed but we still had plenty to choose from and ate somewhere different every day without a bad meal to be had. It was very interesting to see the place prepare for the high season.
The Cretan people could not have been more welcoming. We would definitely go back. Thank you to Gaby and co for all your hard work. :-)

The perfect holiday and you will not find anything better than this place
My family stayed at Pandora Villa and absolutely loved it. We stayed here for 14 nights. We were welcomed by the beautiful Gaby who was the perfect host. The villa is perfect, it’s clean, kitchen is filled with drinks, food and snacks. We also had home cooked Moussaka which was very delicious. Gaby was very kind and always made sure we were all ok. I was so impressed as Gaby provided a life jacket and floats for my 2 year old son. The location is well located. We were very sad to leave and I cried when we said our goodbyes to Gaby. It was a perfect holiday to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. It’s all the special touches that Gaby did for us which made our holiday enjoyable and memorable. We would definitely love to come back again. Thank you Gaby again for everything.

Fantastic
This villa is perfection. My family of five were blown away by the hospitality of Gabby and her family as well as the comfort and style of the villa. We have never felt so welcomed on any holiday before. The location is quiet and beautiful and the local village is a short walk away with a choice of friendly tavernas.
I can absolutely recommend these villas and we will definitely be returning.

Dream villa!!
I had read all the reviews and expected the villa to be nice but it completely exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival Gaby greeted us and felt like royalty being whisked off to the villa. We were amazed to find the fully stocked fridge and treats awaiting us, moussska in the oven and toys in the garden and pool.
The villa is immaculate and attention to detail is perfect - exactly as you see it in the photos. The kids loved the garden and pool. Our pool was not heated so was quite cool but didn’t stop the children enjoying it.
Gaby was a perfect host and available to help or answer any questions. Our son broke the insect screen by accident and Gaby was so kind and didn’t charge us for repair - despite our offer.
We used the hire car that Gaby organized for us to travel across Crete. A car is definitely needed if you want to explore Crete further afield. We found it useful that the grocery store and local villages were in walking distance.
I would definitely return to Pandora villas and won’t hesitate to recommend it to all our family and friends.

I don’t think you’ll find better
This villa is everything that you want from a top notch holiday villa. The hosts are wonderfully friendly and the villa itself is beautiful and stocked with everything that you could think of.
Location is just right for Crete- beautiful traditional villages within walking distance, yet close to many attractions in the wider area.
I don’t usually write reviews, but this time I’ve made an exception, as the place was exceptional. If going back to Crete I’d go straight back here every time.
(Reasonably priced too!)

About the neighbourhood
Location:
Old Hersonissos is located 2km away from the coastal town of Hersonissos. It is a small village that impresses the visitor due to the careful maintenance of local colors and traditions; opposite from the coastal part, it is not popular among the youngsters, because the rhythms of life and the entire atmosphere here is more traditional and somewhat reminiscent of older times.
Founded in the 5th century AD, since the locals wanted to protect themselves from pirates and other sea related dangers and threats. Hersonissos was flourishing until the 50s, when Crete became a popular tourist destination both for Greeks and foreigners. Then, Hersonissos, the coastal harbor became the epicenter of tourist and commercial interest. The two places are vastly different; Hersonissos is bustling and wild, while Old Hersonissos still follows the same quiet and calming pace of the older times.
Old Hersonissos does not have clubs and bars; there are some local taverns and stores with traditional products. It retains its traditional architecture and boasts the small and narrow alleys – the trademark of island architecture in Greece – wells and wood burning ovens, only 5 minutes walk from your Villa take some time to enjoy a glass of raki in one of the café – taverns and grasp the feeling of old Crete.
Piskopiano is a nearby village of 450 residents, almost intertwined with Koutouloufari located at the feet of Pyrgia Heights. Piskopiano was mentioned in books for the first time in 1379 as part of the Great Episcope of Hersonissos.
It is one of the surrounding villages that also features lovely cobblestone paths and narrow alleys, traditional houses with little pots with flowers on their windows, a place reflecting the traditions and beauties of old Crete, ideal for those who are not that much into the bustling nightlife of Hersonissos.
Piskopiano features an Agricultural Museum, where visitors can admire a nicely appointed collection of traditional items and products.
