Holiday Rental House -
6 Bedrooms, 4 Bathrooms, Sleeps 11
Caherdaniel, County Kerry
<BR>'The Stables' is a charming stone building set in the grounds of the larger Westcove House (see separate listing) but offering plenty of privacy for its guests. Lovingly restored and converted in the 1960s, it has been updated over the years, has all modern conveniences and sleeps up to 11 people. For larger groups of people is an ideal annex to Westcove House – especially for younger guests. The airy open plan kitchen/dining area is fully equipped and is spacious enough for everyone to come together…but there are also enough private spots if you need some quiet time and of course internet access. The cosy sitting-room has an open fire & comfortable bedrooms will help ensure a peaceful night's sleep. The bedrooms upstairs have lovely sea views over Westcove Harbour & Kenmare estuary.<BR>One of the St... Read more

4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 June 2013 for a stay in May 2013

Our party of ten had a lovely and comfortable stay at the Stables in May 2013 (6 adults + 4 children). Property was clean and well maintained inside and out … but with charm ! Great facilities for the kids (and men) with the play room, boat, bbq, swings and sauna (although we didn’t get to use it). The open fireplace added to the ambiance and was much appreciated during the coolish spring evenings. Great help and assistance from Susannah prior to arriving and the same caring treatment from Katherine upon arrival. First time in Ireland and we loved it ; beaches, monuments, walks, Guinness and the warm welcome from all the locals. The Stables is perfectly located right on the water’s edge, nice big garden and with lovely hilly walks at hand. Derrynane beach very close by – breathtaking. Also fully recommend the local butcher in Sneem !
