All rooms, except utility, face south with wonderful sea views over Kenmare Estuary. ( See separate listing for smaller East End sleeping 4 in one double & one twin) Pier Cottage is only 30 meters from its own shingle beach and really immerses you in the wild natural beauty of Kerry. Ideal for all types of outdoor activities from hill walking to horse riding, golfing or fishing. it is also perfect for a quiet secluded break. You can swim, row or shrimp just by the cottage or simply sit outside watching the seals play on the rocks - or the magically ever-changing light as the wind chases the clouds over the mountains and sea. As the sun sets over the Atlantic, nestle up by the fire, guarded against the elements, and listen to the cries of the curlews as you sip an Irish whiskey! If you have your own boat, there is safe mooring in the little harbour and a slipway for launching beside the pier. We also have a rowing boat (& life jackets) available for guests to use at their own risk.
