Wished we could have stayed longer! Bramble Cottage is a very comfortable, clean and well maintained home-from-home - a great base from which to either explore North Norfolk and the Broads or as a quiet retreat.
I enjoyed a very comfortable week in Bramble Cottage. The location strikes a nice balance between peace and privacy on the one hand but proximity to the beach and pub on the other. I found everything I needed in the property and enjoyed the sheltered...More
Such a nice cottage, we loved the way it had been updated without loosing any of the original charm. The garden was a little sun trap. Had everything you could need and the bottle of wine and the dog treats were appreciated. There were some...More
We stayed in Bramble Cottage for a week as a family of four and our GSP Ziggy. The accomodation is very comfortable and we loved the stone/pebble walls and beamed ceilings. There is a log burner but we had lovely warm weather so didn't use...More

Thanks Christine for your lovely review showing that it's not just the human guests we cater for! You mentioned three of our favourite places to eat, so well discovered!
The cottage is private, lovely inside with a secure garden. We had a lovely time staying here and would recommend.
Happisburgh is a great location for long beach walks and walks through fields leading back to the cottage.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a lovely review and I'm glad you found the cottage perfect for your stay.
Happisburgh is a peaceful seaside village on the North East Norfolk coast. Bramble Cottage is on a country lane overlooking fields but only a short walk from the heart of the village and miles of sandy beaches. Take the dog out to nearby woods, or venture out on a day boat on the broads nearby. The area is great for those that like cycling, walking, fishing, wildlife watching and more.
Small local shop: papers, general foodstuffs.
Fairmaiden fish shop (wet fish)
Seaside Tea Rooms
Happisburgh Halt Coffee shop and Carvery
Hill House Inn - traditional dog friendly pub with good food.
Burgers at the Beach – seasonal cafe
Venture further afield to find many more eating places.
Driving is the easiest way to get around although there are buses. Venture along the coast to the many seaside towns including Cromer, Sheringham or Great Yarmouth. Go see the seals at Horsey beach. Head to Winterton beach for a long walk on miles of sand, with a visit to the cafe after. Visit the city of Norwich or simply explore the beautiful Norfolk countryside.
