The most incredible place!
What an incredible stay at the most beautiful glamping site I’ve ever visited! The weather was lovely and the views were out of this world. By far the best experience I’ve had and what an amazing way to spend the bank holiday weekend! Would recommend to anyone Anna is a super host and provides exceptional food! There are numerous walks around the area and we event visited highclere castle where they film downtown abbey. The perfect romantic get away.

Highly recommend!
Anna is a great hostess, she really has thought of it all. We had such a lovely stay, the weather was on our side so we got to enjoy the hot tub, BBQ and a lovely evening by the chimnea. The Shepherds hit a facilities are all excellent and I think the price you pay really is great value. We only live 10 minutes away but it felt like we were much further away from home.

Amazing retreat
Thank you to Anna, who is a brilliant host. The shepherd's hut was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. The views were amazing and everything was so peaceful. Loved the chiminea that kept us warm on the chilly evenings

Breathtakingly beautiful
OMG! Where to start.. Annas hot fresh baked bread is a good place or the steaming hot tub or the hidden bathroom in the woods. Just WOW! We were greeted by annas husband when we1at arrived who was so polite and welcoming, then anna drove down to show us to our treat, I had no idea where we were going my husband had planned it all and Wow just wow, that was simply the views! We arrived at this gorgeous shephards hut with a bed so big my hubby had to help me get on it lol it is huge and so comfy, perfect for watching the world go by with the hut doors wide open. Anna had stocked us up with homemade flapjacks and biscuits, beautiful raspberry jam to have with the warm bread, a full fruit basket and everything to make tea and coffee, We also had sausages bacon eggs and orange juice in the fridge, Anna had thought of everything. The hot tub was amazing, it was really easy to keep hot and it is in the perfect location to just take in the peace and quiet, its great for star gazing too if the skys clear, with our bottles of prosecco Anna had supplied it was just perfect. So romantic. The alfresco cooking facilities were great, with a gigantic gas cooking ring, lots of seating and again views were just beautiful, everything you needed was supplied and you can order hampers too, So we are bringing the family next time. Great views again from the love chairs with the chimnea on to keep warm and a book in hand (theres some 50 shades to read ladies lol) All while you take in the bird song because thats all you can hear. Its bliss! Some beautiful photographic views too if thats your thing. We chose to stay put but you can go on walks to the local pub and I believe there is maps and marked out walks but im disabled so we left the walking for the hot tub experiance. The best bit was surely the secret bathroom in the woods, what an enchanted little gem of a place, If you like hearing nothing and enjoy peace and quiet away from the humdrum, a little privacy away from it all then its here, The shepards hut is a little slice of secluded heaven and I simply cannot thank Anna enough for her hospitality, What a treat. thank you from Jamie & Karen xx

Amazing stay
Anna was an amazing host, she had a very special horse delivery but ensured our welcome was perfect. The hut was superb and the little local pub was so special. For our first time away together I could not have wished for more. A special place with a special girl, we will definitely be visiting again soon and telling all our friends and family. Thank you Anna

Heaven
Everything about this accommodation is amazing. Anna had the hot tub warmed up for our arrival and there was warm freshly made bread and flap jacks on arrival too. We spent our afternoon exploring the local grounds (Anna explained where is nice to walk- we chose to walk through the forests) and relaxing in the hot tub with a bottle of bubbly. Charlie brought out our hamper in the evening which was very good value for money - the quality of steak was sensational. We relaxed in the hot tub looking at the sunset and then the milky way. We both slept very well in the comfy bed, waking up feeling refreshed. Breakfast was provided the next day (the sausages were my favourite). We did not need anything extra during the whole trip and I can not think of one fault! Amazing , thank you for our stay

Amazing location, amazing host, amazing accomodation......If your thinking about it, just book it, you won't regret it!
Where to start? From the moment I booked, Anna was friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much of an ask. Anna contacted me the week before with the finer details and I ordered a BBQ pack –it seems you can pretty much order anything you would like. All of the food we had was to die for! Upon arrival Anna greeted us and showed us round the accommodation, she was so welcoming and friendly, again nothing was too big of an ask. There was freshly baked bread awaiting us along with homemade flapjacks & shortbread and the fridge was full with breakfast items such as bacon, sausages and eggs, orange juice, butter, ketchup, marmalade, 2 mini bottles of prosecco and milk. Tea and coffee and croissants were also provided. There were also chocolates on the bed which was a lovely touch. Anna really has thought of everything. The shepherd's hut was beautiful and so well equipped with everything you could need - kitchen roll, cling film, kettle, washing up liquid, bin liners, pen, torches, binoculars, games, books, a personalised map of the area for walks. The bed was so comfy! The lounge area is really cute and where we tucked into the still warm homemade bread as soon as we arrived. The fridge is big enough to fit a few more things in that you may have brought and we also took a cool box. Towels, robes and slippers were provided on the bed. There was even 2 towels each which was perfect as one for the hot tub and one for the shower. The big gas BBQ is under cover with a bench and has everything you could possibly need to cook with - oils, condiments, plates, cutlery, matches, saucepans, griddles, tools to cook with, gas bottle etc. We ordered a BBQ pack containing chicken skewers, vegetable skewers, pork burgers, sausages and steaks! The food was amazing - would definitely recommend ordering meat for the BBQ! The steaks were to die for. The hot tub was lovely - Anna had this going for us upon arrival. We spent many hours in this. There is a lovely seating area with a chimnea and two sun loungers on the other side. The area is all fenced off and you can park right outside the hut. There is a toilet block around the back with a toilet, sink and shower - very clean and all worked perfectly. This is such the perfect location - you cannot hear anything!! You are at the top of the farm and are away from everyone and everything, We went on a lovely evening walk and there seems so much to explore. You can see farm land for miles, the view was so beautiful. This was a perfect escape from reality - it was so lovely to be in such a peaceful area. The sun set views are stunning and the hot tub is just so relaxing. Drinking a glass of prosecco in the hot tub at sun set was just perfect. I took my husband for his birthday and we just had the best time. I believe there are some local pubs you can walk to but we didn't try them out. We did do a small walk and it was the most beautiful walk through the woods. Passed the horses on the farm on the way! We can't wait to go back!! If you are thinking about booking this place, then just book it, you won't regret it. Anna could not be lovelier and will go above and beyond to make your stay special and ensure you have everything you need. Such an amazing place to go to get some well needed R&R!!

better than you could imagine
the only downside was that I couldn't stay there forever. Anna is a wonderful host, the location is incredible and very secluded, no noise, no anyone, maybe a few wild rabbits and ladybirds, and the accommodation is finished beautifully with everything you need there. Also a mega + is that its pet friendly, Colin the dog had a great time basking in the sun and not being able to catch the rabbits (he's old and slow and they are not). Already looking forward to getting back to the cabin. Also the Hot tub is the one.
