Toll House is the southern wing of Lumley Mill, a beautiful Grade II listed building which dates back to the 18th Century and is nestled at the end of a leafy lane just outside the harbour town of Emsworth. Imposing in appearance, the building has a notable history, with previous occupants including the artist and entomologist, Peter Buckler, and it is reputed that Admiral Nelson and Lady Hamilton were once guests of then owner who was the baker to the Royal Navy. Today, Lumley Mill is often the subject of local artists, keen to capture its character and charm.

With 3 large bedrooms on the first floor, the house will comfortably sleep 6 guests, with the option of 2 further guests on pull-out beds in the twin bedroom, suitable for children (£50 supplement for use of pull-out beds). The house and the rooms are large but the terrace outside is quite small and almost always without a chance to catch a glimpse of sun. Therefore not very suitable for a summer holiday unless you go outside to the beach. Great in spring or...

The location is lovely if you enjoy walks in the countryside, the off road parking is a plus and the setting is really special with the stream flowing past the sheltered courtyard providing duck feeding opportunities! The house itself is spacious; the kitchen...
