This one was a bit different! On the top floor of a restaurant, which meant you went through the restaurant to get to your accommodation. Not sure if I would have been comfortable dragging my luggage through the patrons if it has been open when we arrived. The accommodation itself was what would be expected of a cottage this age, however the access steps were not for the faint hearted and relied on a hand rope to assist on the downward journey as the steps were very steep and no hand rail. The floors were very uneven and the head of the bed faced down the slope of the floor. An interesting place to stay and only a very short walk up the street to find shops, restaurants or pubs. All in all, we quite enjoyed our stay in this old thatched roof cottage.
