About the neighbourhood
Bonchurch is a lovely village on the Isle of Wight it's facilities include public toilets, a rustic Pub and a slipway for small launches. Bonchurch is home to St Boniface Church, it's nave and chancel dates from the 11th century. Charles Dickens spent some summers here and used the time to write several chapters of David Copperfield.
Getting around
Walking into Bonchurch or Ventnor only takes about 10 minutes. There are several routes that take you along the sea front for a beautiful scenic view. You can cycle into Bonchurch and then along the sea front right onto Ventnor's Esplanade. If you want to explore the Island then a car is necessary however if cycling is your thing there are plenty of good cycle routes around the Island.
