Five bedroom family home with three bathrooms, one of which is ensuite. Bedrooms are set up as: 1 double, 4 rooms that each have 1 double bed + 1 single bed. There are 3 bedrooms on the 1st floor, and 2 bedrooms (where you walk through one to get to the other) on the 2nd floor. Small back yard with seating area and off road parking for one car.

Downstairs comprises large kitchen dining area with a table that will sit 12 people, and large reception room, one section of which can be converted to form a 'bedroom' using a single sofa bed.

We rented the house for Xmas and there were plenty of space for the 9 of us!! House is beautifully decorated, cosy and very inviting. The rooms are quite spacious (good mattresses) the kitchen well equipped, especially if you are into cooking (as we are)....More

Bed linen and towels are provided.

Electricity and Gas are provided.

Payment Terms: 25% of rent (or £300 - whichever is the greater) is to be paid at time of booking. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

Additionally, we require a returnable damage deposit of £300 to be paid 2 weeks prior to arrival. This is returned when the changeover has been completed and it's confirmed that there isn't any damage or breakages.

Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer. If travelling from abroad, you will be requested to add £10 (Europe) or £20 (non-Europe) to the damage deposit to cover UK bank charges to return the money to your own bank account.

About the neighbourhood
Cowes has been the one of the UKs hubs for yachting for as long as l can remember. The whole place has a feel of the ocean, travel and the mariner. You can find many bars restaurants and boutiques throughout the town all based around this feel and life style. You will also note that some of the key locations on the water front are owned by Yacht Clubs of which there are many. In fact its a really nice walk from one end of Cowes heading out to Gurnard on the water front past the Royal Yacht Squadron. Once in Gurnard you will find a great place for coffee or breakfast.

Ferry: Five min walk: 0.5 km
The property is situated in the heart of Cowes at the top of the ramp for the main marina in Cowes (Cowes Yacht Haven) and the pedestrian walkway 'High Street. You can get to the chain ferry with the car in three mins walking and two driving. The fast ferry to the mainland (Southampton) is a five min walk down the High Street, where you will find plenty of shopping bars and cafes. Our nearest airport is Southampton when travelling in Europe otherwise Heathrow is only one hour by car- airport taxi.
