We do not live locally - being 90 miles away in Hertfordshire so we will not be there to meet you. We do have cleaners and a handyman locally for any emergencies. Access is via a key box.
We have comprehensive guides in the house and there is a drawer full of local info in the coffee table in the lounge

I’m so glad you had a good stay. It’s good to know that even on a four week stay the house works well. We have tried to make it a home from home!
Good luck with your house search - can certainly recommend the location.
This was our second stay at Heron cottage.
Generally excellent, but there is no tumble dryer and the washing machine was full of sand!More

Hythe has an interesting array of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants along its High Street and surrounds, only a short walk away from the cottage.
There are some fine local attractions for a day close to home. Apart from the shingle beach at Hythe, there is a good sandy beach with many facilities nearby at Dymchurch.
The local Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway is one of Kent's top tourist attractions and offers a fun way to spend the day. The miniature railway runs for 12.5 miles from Hythe to the unique national n...
