About the neighbourhood
Sandwich is a delight to wander around. With wonderful street names like Paradise Row, Short Street and Gallows Field it is easy to lose yourself in the history of this town. There is a great choice of restaurants – the Hop and Huffkin Kentish Dining Room delivers delicious food and 17th Century coaching inns the Crispin Inn and the Admiral Owen close to the Quay offer good local ales. The Bell Hotel has a lovely outside terrace to watch the world go by. Seal spotting boat trips leave from the Quay throughout the year.
