I can only say that I agree with all the praise that has already been written. A word of advice about parking. It is a problem but I suggest that the car parks are really user friendly: no need to carry the right amount of change or to know in advance how long you want to stay. You pay with...

We have just returned from Seahorse Cottage and can honestly say it delivers everything it promises. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated, very clean and well equipped. The owners attention to detail is amazing with fresh flowers, lovely linens and comfy beds there really is nothing else you could ask for. The location of the cottage is great being a...

Seahorsei is a beautiful cottage which has been furnished and fitted to very high standards. The most comfortable beds we've had in holiday let, which is soo important. Great to have Nespresso as we normally take ours with us, but just took the pods. It was Spotlessly clean and Sally was a most attentive and caring owner. A generous welcome...

Thank you for taking the time to review Seahorse Cottage. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the extra personal touches that we like to offer. The Nespresso Machine is very popular and we provide a selection of coffee capsules for guests but know that some prefer to bring their own specific strength or style. Whitstable gets...

About the neighbourhood
Kent, The Garden of England, has everything from the rolling hills of the North Downs Way to the surprising solitude of the north Kent estuaries and marshes.

The centre of Kents arts is Canterbury, a vibrant and spectacular medieval cathedral City that inspired Chaucer's Canterbury Tales and William Golding worked in Maidstone.

Near Sandwich at Richborough you can experience the early Roman settlement of Britain.

Castles nearby are Dover, Leeds and Walmer. Fishing ports and medieval towns make this corner of Britain endlessly fascinating, while the countryside provides wonderful walks, both coastal and inland.

Kent is easily accessible by road, sea or rail. Dover is the closest point to France and remains a hub for ferry travel to the rest of Europe.
