Note: The stairs in this property are open, steep and have a drop on one side, therefore are not safe for small children or those with limited mobility. Note: Intermittent WIFI at this property. Region: Cambridge is a delight to visit in any season: relax in its many pubs, restaurants and cafes whilst exploring the shops around the historic market place. If you want to get up, out and about, you couldn’t have picked a better county to explore. Town: Morcott is a village in the county of Rutland in the East Midlands of England. The village's Norman church features a “pancake” window on the west side, and a north arcade considered to be 'the best example of Norman work in the area'. The village name is an Old English derivation of “a cottage on the moor”. The village is recorded as Morcote in the Domesday survey of 1086 and formed part of the king’s manor of Barrowden. We have just returned from a wonderful few days in the windmill and all I can say is WOW! I didn't want to come home. It has all the amenities you need including a fully equipped kitchen, ground floor WC, a generous sized lounge, 2...More

Spent a peaceful week in the windmill getting away from it all. Lots of walking and fresh air; even snowed over night. Went to Stamford and Rutland Water. Great biking countryside. Very comfortable accommodation. We definitely be back!
