We welcome dogs at Harlequin but do ask that they are not left alone in the house. Please remember to bring your dog's blanket to put on the settees if you allow your dog on furniture. Don't worry if you forget, we keep spare ones in the understair's cupboard along with an extra long lead which might be useful to give a bit of freedom on the patio area.

Just spent a week at Harlequin Cottage, a real home from home. Contact with the host, Sharon, was spot on, she responded to any messages sent almost immediately. Cottage was easy to find, parking at the rear of the property, we had bikes with us so left them by the patio doors. Cottage was clean, double bed very comfortable. The host provides tea bags, coffee, cleaning products, tea towels, towels etc.
Leisure facilities are excellent for a holiday park, gym was more than adequate. Will definitely be back.

Great place, immaculate, well equipped especially if you have young children.
Sharon was really responsive and helpful from pre booking enquiries right through. The place was immaculate and had everything we needed. There were children’s books, toys, travel cot, high hair and baby and toddler cups etc.
There was also a big selection of board games and a xbox360.
We had a couple of barbecues and discovered some garden toys and games too. Swimming pool was good.

Weekend getaway
House was spotlessly clean and very comfortable every thing we needed was there books and games if required for a rainy day communication with owners good and one of the few not to hike prices up following covid love the bay very dog friendly

Relaxing break
Just returned from a Monday to Friday stay at this lovely cottage. It's in a great location and has a lovely patio area for alfresco dining! The cottage was very clean and had a lovely homely feel about it. Not too far to walk to the beach either! Will definitely return.

We book d last minute for harlequin as our boiler had broken down . We have 3 small dogs too but were very welcomed.the house is spotless clean n warm it has everything you need even spare doggy poop bags. I would give this beautiful holiday home 10 out of 10 the nicest we have stayed with dogs.

Fabulous family cottage
This is the best cottage we have stayed in at The Bay. Sharon provides a lovely, child friendly house with beautifully thoughtful touches to make guests feel at home.
The cottage has a large grassed area to the back, along with little paths ideal for our children to pedal about on their bikes without the need to go on the road - fabulous to know they are safe outside without us having to worry.

Well appointed cosy cottage
We had a lovely time staying at Harlequin Cottage. The accommodation was immacculate and location superb. We would love to come back. The Bay Resort is also lovely, although the pool was a wee bit cold. Great walk along the beach to the pretty seaside town of Filey. You couldn't go wrong with a holiday here.

Awesome family holiday
We have stayed at The Bay in Filey 4 times in the passed 5 years and totally love It. The Bay has excellent facilities for the family and the beach is a stone through away for walking the dog.
We’ve stayed at Harlequin Cottage 3 times now and feel it’s a home from home. Lovely and clean and totally kitted out with all the mod cons. Netflix and an Xbox are a firm favourite.
There loads to do and would highly recommend to The Bay and Harlequin cottage to anyone. Top marks.

Great holiday
Harlequin is a beautiful place to stay and has everything you could need for your holiday. The location is amazing, so close to the beach. On our stay we visited a few local attractions (Sewerby Hall, North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Scarborough Fair Collection) and they were all brilliant days out. I would love to return in the future.

Fantastic place
What a fantastic place to stay. The facilities are excellent, everything you could need. The owners were very accommodating for my last minute booking. Its so good to have high standard dog friendly places to stay. The Bay itself is a find. I can't wait to stay again
