Cottage
We are delighted to welcome you to Quarry Cottage set within in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. You will be presented with a traditional terrace stone cottage in the beautiful Hamlet of Burtersett, Hawes. The Cottage is centrally heated and has been beautifully furnished and decorated to provide a warm and comfortable base whilst enjoying your holiday in the Dales. You can also enjoy the luxury and warmth of a log burning stove during the winter months. Quarry Cottage is available to book 12 months of the year.
The area is a haven for walkers, cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts due to the nature of the surrounding hills, valleys and rivers. The cottage is very close to the famous Malham Cove, Yorkshire three Peaks; Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-gent. For those that prefer the less en...

Beautiful cottage, fantastic stay.
Had a lovely stay at Quarry Cottage, and was greeted with a clean and cosy interior that held everything you could need for your stay. Great communication with the host and all information required was given with plenty of notice. Can't wait to visit again, what a brilliant break.

A little gem in the national park
What a wonderful well presented cottage in a quiet but convenient location.
It has been decorated tastefully to a very high standard, great to see every need covered. Ideal for a short break or longer right in the heart of the national park.
We were fortunate to be able to walk straight from the cottage but many other attractions if walking is not your thing.
Hawes is a small walk away and it was nice not to worry about traffic or parking. You must visit the dairy or even the jam preserve factory shop (much cheaper).
This cottage was simply perfect ti meet our needs of 3 adults for 3 days away.

All great but...
The cottage was a great surprise with everything sparkling and functional and clear instructions, with 2 exceptions: please ditch the barn doors and especially the annoyingly loud clack clack locks and get rid of the 'posters' of the 4 poster bed, which are constant sources of knocking arms and heads!

Perfect place to unwind : HIghly recommended
Stayed for 2 nights in this cosy cottage in Buttraset, just a mile or so outside Hawes. It was the perfect location to explore the Dales.
The cottage was perfect : scrupulously clean, warm and all the amenitities we could ask for, including wifi, a modern TV and an excellent shower.
Someone had put a lot of thought into the presentation with thoughtful touches throughout, co-ordinating sheep pictures in muted colours .. it felt really homely. The main bedroom in particular is lovely, and it has great views of the dales.
Its a terraced cottage but we didnt hear any neighbours (other than some baa-ing from a nearby field!) ,and the village itself is very tranquil
There is no parking immediately outside the cottage, but we had no problems parking in the village a minutes walk away and we were able to park outside to unload and load.
The communication from the owners was timely and friendly
