    Newly converted barn on working Wensleydale sheep & dairy farm facing south over the valley and meadows with pastures rising behind towards the dramatic landscape above. Peaceful, stunning location with views of open countryside from every angle. The front & back patios are perfect for relaxing & enjoying breakfast outside or a glass of wine in the evening. Internally furnished and decorated to a very high standard. Comfortable furniture & good quality furniture & fittings throughout retaining original features such as flagstone floors on ground level and the stairway and upstairs are vaulted into the roof space to expose the beams which add character & an airy feel to the upper level. Heating system is controlled by the visitor to suit your own personal needs. Ample safe parking.     Quiet and tranquil

    Very comfortable cottage. A great place to unwind and relax. Wonderful location from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales. Short distance from Hawes and Snaizeholme Red Squirrel Trail. Great holiday.More

    Stunning countryside surrounds our cottages. The area is a walkers paradise with walks to suit everyone. There are numerous visitors attractions to take in, waterfalls, castles, local crafts, museums, good quality food outlets & restaurants alongside pubs & tea rooms. Bird watching & squirrel spotting on our doorstep. Cycling routes for all abilities. Lots of opportunities for ken photographers. Local annual shows & village events throughout the year. Fishing available in walking distance from our cottages. Peaceful place to relax & unwind.
    How to get there
    Our location is easy to find. The A684 runs the full length of Wensleydale & our cottages are visible from this road. We have a large sign to guide visitors along our drive. Perfectly set in Wensleydale with opportunities to visit 'a different dale every day' within driving distance. Hawes is under 2 miles away & convenient to shop, go out for a meal or just wander around the shops & other visitor attractions, i.e. The Wensleydale Creamery, The Ropemakers, & the Dales Countryside Museum. There are bicycles for hire in Hawes & we can provide safe secure storage.
