The Stable was converted from a barn into a charming cottage set in a stunning location surrounded by open fields and pastures, one & a half miles west of the market town of Hawes in picturesque Upper Wensleydale. Original flag stones cover the ground floor. The accommodation comprises an entrance porch, open plan kitchen/dining/ living room. Downstairs cloakroom with toilet & wash basin. Staircase to an airy upper level with original beamed ceilings. One double bedroom, one single bedroom and bathroom comprising cubicle shower, bath, wash basin & toilet. We take great pride in providing very clean & comfortable accommodation & are rewarded with many repeat visitors. Cosy and very comfortable cottage. Quiet and tranquil. Great location to begin exploring the Yorkshire Dales and a short drive away from Hawes. A perfect spot to stay.

About the neighbourhood
There are walks to suit everyone from the occasional rambler to those who prefer clambering up the fells. Whatever the weather the views are spectacular from dale to dale, season to season, the peace and tranquility of the dales will help you to relax & and unwind. Fishing Licences are available in Hawes for the River Ure which runs near our cottages. The Tour de France sped through our area in 2015. Great cycling area, bring your own or hire in Hawes. If you enjoy photography you will be spoilt for choice of views & wildlife. We have seen a Red Squirrel in our garden & there is a wonderful local wood where observing them in the wild is guaranteed.
