Lovely 5 star accommodation well situated in Bamburgh. Stunning kitchen / diner / living area with all mod cons . Bedrooms all small but en suite. Log burner in living area but no logs supplied ( though available at local shop. ) outside area enclosed and would be good in the Summer for a bbq. Hope to return some day...

Firstly this review is not a reflection of the owner who has been exceptionally helpful. Review relates to the poor customer experience delivered from Grace Darling Properties who are responsible for cleaning and maintaining the property. The property had a number of dirty plates, frying pan, stains on seats and stains on bedding. There was no oven glove provided. There...

About the neighbourhood
Bamburgh Barn is located in the heart of Bamburgh on the peaceful quiet loop comprising the tail end of Front Street. It's location is accessed via this pretty little back street which gives way to secure gated access to the property. Bamburgh Barn sits in a slightly elevated position that is almost exactly parallel to Bamburgh Castle. This means that you can enjoy full length, unadulterated views of the Castle from the terrace and the principal rooms; something that is almost unique in Bamburgh.
Getting around
Bamburgh is the ideal location from which to explore the local and broader Northumberland area. We have space for three cars which means you never have to battle for a space in the village in high season.

How to get there
1. When in Bamburgh, head down Front Street (the villages main street) in the direction of Bamburgh Castle
2. When you have reached the Lord Crewe Hotel, take the right hand turn approximately 20 yards after (this is still called Front Street but it is not marked)
3. Continue for 20 yards and follow the right-hand turn to the right (you will see a Private sign on the wall in front of you before you turn right). After another 15 yards, you will see Bamburgh Barns's gates on the right hand side. Enjoy!
