The apartment was the most well equipped holiday let I've ever stayed in, John has thought of everything, making it a real home from home. The location is perfect for exploring Berwick, and there is a good bus service if you don't drive but want to go further afield. Special mentions go to the Grill on the Hill (West Steet)...

John has a superb apartment here within the Elizabethan walls. Parking for the car was taken care of with a residents permit, and we could park outside the building. Very well equiped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The enclosed garden is a treat. Easy access to local resteraunts etc. Very good base from which to explore...

The apartment is all ground floor and ideal for those with walking difficulties being both close to the town center and the Elizabethan Walls. It sleeps 4 persons comfortably but as the second bedroom has a bed with a double bed base and a single bed above where another person can be accommodated. The kitchen also has a small breakfast bar with two bar stool style seats. Situated within the historic Elizabethan wall and only three minutes walk from the town centre makes shopping and site seeing in Berwick easy. There are several pubs and hotels that provide a good menu and a good selection of shops including some that provide fresh local produce. The twice-weekly market is held on Wednesdays and Saturdays in the shadow of the town hall where there is always a bargain to be had.
