Brigand Cottage is tucked into the southern edge of beautiful Druridge Bay in the small village of Cresswell. Clif top lawned terrace gardens command extensive everchanging views as the tides ebb and flow on the wide golden sands of this super scenic stretch of the Northumberland coastline. Brigand Cottage glories in a spacious west facing living room with oak beamed ceilings and panaramic leaded window welcoming in the warmth of the afternoon and evening sun whilst commanding views of open pasture land and the ruined Pele Tower. There is also a walk in cupboard with storage and hanging space. the second has two single beds The well fitted bathroom with electric shower over the bath is on the ground floor as is the cottage style kitchen with solid pine units, which has free flowing hot water and a split level dining room with facilities for four. The best part of this holiday was sitting on the bench at the bottom of the garden with either a coffee or on an evening with a blanket over our legs watching the tide splash up over the rocks and the fishermen. At this time...More

How to get there
From the A1 take the the turn off for the Tyne tunnel. At the Moor House roundabout take the second exit A189 north. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit continuing north. At the next roundabout 2nd exit north.At the mini roundabout procceed straight on. In the village of Lynemouth at the mini roundabout turn right and follow the sea road to Cresswell. Brigand Cottage is in the middle of the first row of cottages on the right. see map.
