Very good cottage, two good sized bedrooms, comfortable beds, well supplied kitchen,cosy sitting room. Very close to the town and harbour and loads of places to eat. The cottage was very comfortable, well appointed and an excellent location. Everything we needed, in perfect condition and the cottage was spotless throughout. Short breaks are available in low and mid season; either Monday-Friday or Friday-Monday. These breaks are charged at 66% of the full rental fee.
A deposit of 20% of the rental fee is required at the time of booking. The balance is due 6 weeks before the start of the booking.
We require a refundable breakages deposit of £100 to be paid with the balance. If there are no significant breakages or any damage, this will be refunded in full within 14 days of you leaving the property.

From Kittiwake's front door, it is only 150 yards to the many amenities Seahouses has to offer:- the local harbour - flanked on either side by glorious, uncrowded sandy beaches, shops, cafes/restaurants, public houses and crazy golf. Departing regularly from Seahouses harbour are fishing trips and boat trips to the Farne Islands; famous for its bird sanctuaries, seal colonies and the Longstone lighthouse. There are several first class golf courses in the area, with Seahouses 18 hole golf course being a 5-minute walk from the cottage. <BR>As well as convenience stores, a bakery, a butchers, a chemist, gift shops and a petrol station, Seahouses also has its own Tourist Information centre for helpful advice and local information. Kittiwake is easily accessible from the A1, and is signposted when approaching Alnwick - full directions will be sent on receipt of booking form and deposit.<BR>The cottage is located in Seahouses village, a short walk from the harbour and all village amenities. There is a regular bus service from Berwick upon Tweed and Alnwick. <BR>Cheap flights are available from many major European cities to Newcastle Airport through operators such as Easyjet, Ryanair, Jet2 and others and the cottage is only an hours drive from the airport. <BR>Access by train is from Alnmouth station which is on the East Coast Main Line from London to Edinburgh.
