A former Granary dating back 200 years this recently converted property is set over three floors as follows ;

GROUND FLOOR well equipped large kitchen diner with new appliances including full size fridge/freezer, oven and hob, microwave, nespresso machine and washing machine. There is also a 34' colour TV with freeview channels and a sony Ipod docking station. There is ample seating around the large dining table.

FIRST FLOOR with family bathroom and beautiful spacious lounge which is comfortably furnished and includes 44' tv with freeview channels, xbox and dvd player.

We recently stayed at the Granary for 3 nights. The cottage is in a good location for exploring the Northumberland coastline. Short walk into Seahouses, lovely beach. The Granary has everything you need. Parking at the front and rear of the cottage. Sarah, the owner replies very quickly on any questions and is very helpful.

All we needed for a girls break,quiet location within easy walking to shops pubs etc,comfy beds after a long days walking and late nights talking!

There are many facilities on offer within walking distance of this popular fishing port, including pubs, restaurants and of course m, fabulous beaches. Horse riding is available within 100 yards and there’s an impressive 18 hole golf course on the links close by. Boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands - famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony depart regularly from the harbour only 500 yards away. 3 miles up the coastline is the picturesque village of Bamburgh, with its imposing castle where Holy Island can be seen from the wild expanse of golden, sandy beach. Just a few miles inland is the bustling market town of Alnwick again with its famous castle well known to Harry Potter fans !

There is a bus service (X18) which links the popular villages on the coast allowing guests to leave the car behind and take in the scenery.
There is also a train service to Newcastle/Edinburgh from Alnmouth station a short drive away
