Interaction with guests
The cottage is furnished with personal books and pictures which makes it feel like a real home from home. There is a good selection of books which will tell you about the local history with the its border battles and also the Roman Wall. There are novels as well to use in the evening when you have been out and about and can draw the curtains, light the fire and settle down with a book. There is also a selection of games and cards. If you are there in June the light stays far into the evenings.
