Toad's Breech is one of our two characterful stone barn-conversions. The two bedroom, dog friendly cottage has all modern conveniences, but retains the charm of wonky walls, beams and oak plank flooring. Situated on our small farm with stunning views over the Exe Valley it is a short walk, cycle or drive from the village of Brompton Regis with its friendly pub and shop, a couple of miles from Wimbleball Lake with its watersports and activity centre and 4 miles from the beautiful town of Dulverton. The cottage is the perfect base from which to explore the local villages, historic towns and the stunning and varied Exmoor countryside or to get active with great walking, cycling, fishing, kayaking on your doorstep. Weatherham Farm is also a great place for families. Children have plenty of space to safely run free. There’s a field for ball games and they can feed our goats and chickens and collect the eggs. There are plenty of family activities to enjoy at nearby Wimbleball Lake, visit the nearby sandy beaches of North Devon, go crabbing on the coast or ride at the Exmoor Pony Centre. Heating, electricity, bed-linen and towels are included in the price, plus there are all the basic in the house - tea, coffee, salt, pepper, cooking oil, toilet and kitchen roll, liquid soap, plus a welcoming cake or biscuits, pint of milk and fresh eggs when the hens are laying. Free Wifi is available. Downstairs there is a spacious lounge with two comfortable sofas, window seat, flat screen TV and a wood burner (logs provided). The kitchen/diner is well equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and coffee machine. There is access to a shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble drier. We love and welcome well-behaved dogs (up to 3), although ask that they remain downstairs and off the furniture. There is an enclosed garden and we keep a field free of sheep so that there is plenty of space to exercise. Dogs are charged at £2 per night per dog. More

Absolutely fantastic place, spotlessly clean, well equipped, lovely log burner, comfy beds, perfectly peaceful location with amazing views. Exceptional hosts, really friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Five star break with loads of walks in the area, would thoroughly recommend.
