This property is well suited to families or couples looking for a fuss-free getaway in the lovely village of Porlock. Centrally located in the village, you have a great selection of restaurants, pubs, cafes and tea rooms all within easy walking distance, as is the village bus stop which means you do not need to have your own car to make the most of the location - quite a rarity for Exmoor! The property consists of a large double bedroom (with king-sized bed), two single bedrooms and family bathroom (shower over bath) upstairs. Archways kitchen is fitted with dishwasher, combined washing machine/tumble dryer , fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, electric oven and ceramic hob. Other equipment includes cookware, toaster, kettle, a variety of kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. A television and DVD player is provided in the living room and wireless broadband is available throughout the property. There is a high chair and pressure fit stair gate in the property for guests with babies. Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Archways is fitted with modern electric ecopanel heaters that are individually controlled and can be adjusted to suit your preferences. There is also an electric flame-effect fire in the sitting room that can be used to boost the temperature when required. Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips. A small amount of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits are provided to ensure you can have a hot drink as soon as you arrive. There may also be other non-perishable items like a salt, pepper and a few herbs or spices available. Cleaning materials such as washing up liquid and surface cleaner will be present in the property. One or two toilet rolls will be provided. Archways benefits from a private and enclosed garden/courtyard to the rear of the property, which is accessed from the living room down a short flight of steps. Outside table and chairs means you can eat and relax in the privacy of this garden. Off-road parking for one car is available in the car park to the rear of the property. If you have more than one car there is a pay and display car park nearby. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement only (maximum of 2). A supplementary fee of £15 will be added to your invoice to cover additional cleaning costs. Please do not allow your dogs on the furniture or upstairs and do not leave them alone in the property at any time. Archways is strictly non-smoking.More

Lovely dog friendly village. Two lovely pubs within a stones throw of the house. Porlock and Porlock Weir well worth a visit. The house had everything we needed for our long weekend and Bella our Jack Russell enjoyed it too. Would definitely return.

Had a great short weekend here .Lovely little 3 bed place, beautifull decor . Comfortable , clean, well equipped .Nice bedding and towels provided .Lots of little personal extras at the property .Free wifi. DVDs . Uht milk and biscuits greeted us on arrival ....More

Wonderful location- the house contains everything that you could wish for a weekend/week break ! It was warm and cosy and just the right size for the 4 of us ! There are plenty of pubs - one just a stone's throw across the road....More

very nice accommodation, only drawback was the streetlight right outside the bedroom window, we like total darkness. Porlock very good for eating out views from top of porlock hill stunning. all in all very nice.

Came to stay for 6 nights wish we had longer. The house is superb. Well equipped and literally yards from all shops,pubs and restaurants. It's welcoming and clean only thing it didn't have or I couldn't find it was an iron and ironing board! Everything...More
