Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.

Cute little cottage
We had 2 nights at Barn 3, it was lovely.. Julian was very helpful.. the cottage was very clean at a first glance just cobwebs in the high ceilings. Kitchen comes with all utensils, we had a cosy night in one night and watched a dvd.. wifi didn’t really work during our visit so iPad could not be used. We would return if we were in the area again x

Cosy well located haven for exploring the area
We loved our stay at Barn 3- clean and comfortable with welcoming hosts, Julian and Ali. It was very peaceful ( we even saw a Reeves' Muntjac deer) but well placed to explore Stratford, Warwick and Leamington Spa. Henley itself is a nice, well equipped village.

Very relaxing
A great place to really get away from it all but still close to major centres and lots of historical sites. Great if you like Shakespeare country.

Very quiet and secluded.
A real get away place with friendly, helpful owners. A very rustic location but still close to places of interest and amenities.

Superb all round accomadation and hosts
This is a well positioned barn complex, 3 different size single storey barn conversions, set in lovey quite country lanes. Barn 3 has one bedroom with an un-suite shower room, with lounge/kitchen. Light and airy with a patio/decking outside. 5 minutes drive from Henley on Arden and approx. 15 minutes from Stratford upon Avon and 30 minutes to Birmingham. Julian & Alison are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Homemade cakes waiting for us on our arrival. Well stocked kitchen for cooking and everything was clean and tidy. We are cyclist and we were able to put our bikes securely in their stables. As the name suggests, a true hidden gem. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Top-notch, spotless, relaxed and peaceful.
Jules and Ali were incredibly friendly, welcoming hosts, which when combined with the tranquil setting immediately helped us to switch off after a busy week at work. Barn 3 did not disappoint....a slick finish, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, especially the bed! There were thoughtful, homely touches, such as relevant info regarding the local area, DVDs, board games, interesting books, and up to date lifestyle magazines. As the name suggests Hidden Cottages is tucked away in a lovely rural location, complete with wildflower meadow, yet Henley is only 5 minutes away by car. Stratford is also not far away if you're looking for a bit more action, but apart from a couple of trips into Henley, we chose to keep it chilled in the comfort of barn 3, and enjoyed every peaceful minute! Thanks again to jules and Ali; we loved it!

Independent, top quality, friendly, roomy and great value for money. 5 stars
I stayed here with my girlfriend visiting the old haunts from her uni days. This place is a real gem! The barn was spacious and well decked out with everything we needed for a long weekend. The bed was really comfy and the pillows were lush! Great bathroom and kitchen, and exposed wooden beams made this feel like a real country getaway, much better than a hotel or b and b. it's easy to find but like it says hidden away from all then hustle and bustle of modern life, although near enough to visit local attractions like Warwick castle and Leamington Spa. The owners are top class, friendly and helpful which makes all the difference. My girlfriend loved it, she wants to come back at Christmas when we can make the most of the log burner, again a nice touch. Great place, great value, I highly recommend it!
