DeLeon Farms is offering camp sites on our hay farm for visitors attending the 2017 Solar Eclipse. Camping dates are Aug 19th-Aug 21st. Located just 4 miles off Interstate 84 along the Snake River across from Indian Head Mountain. We are very near the center of the path of totality. Wide open viewing area, clear skies for miles. There are numerous types of wildlife in the area, from deer, to a wide variety of birds. Campers in the lower field can fish the Snake River. Easy driving distance to several towns. Weiser, Payette, and Fruitland Idaho or Huntington and Ontario, Oregon. All of these towns are within 20 minutes drive time, but our location along the river keeps us secluded and peaceful. Sights to see in our area; Weiser River Trail, Weiser Museum, Mann Creek Reservoir. Four RIvers Cultural Center and Museum. An hours drive from here. Oregon Trail Interpretive Center, Baker Heritage Museum, Leo Adler Museum, and the Sumpter Valley Railroad. Places to eat: In Weiser--Farmer's Cafe, Homestead Cafe, Angler's Grill, Idaho Pizza, and Mann's Creek Cafe-(great smoked Tri-tip and Prime Rib!!) In Ontario; Feista Guadalajara, Mackey's, Ogawa's Teriyaki Hut, Los Potrilla's, Wingers Roadhouse Grill, Brewsky's Broiler, Bert's Growler Garage, Denny's, and Country Kitchen.
How to get there
From Interstate 84 take Exit 356, old Highway 201 for 3.7 miles. Turn North on Porter Flats road for a half mile. Hosts will be available at the junction of Porter Flats and Conductor Road to direct you to your area. We have plenty of room for parking large RV's. Everyone will have plenty of room.
