My husband and I come out to the Oregon coast yearly for part business part pleasure. This time we brought along our 7 year old son and decided to rent a house instead of staying in a hotel. This was definitely a learning experience.
As has been mentioned before, the view is pretty spectacular. We were lucky enough to visit at a time with very little fog on any of the days. The house is pretty secluded and is actually very quiet considering the proximity to the 101. The beds are quite comfortable, and the pillows as well.
They advertise the location as being within walking distance of beach access, but I don't know who in their right mind is going to be walking along the 101 for just under 1/2 mile with not even a bike lane. Not safe (or sane). The view is beautiful, but is partially obstructed by a very large plant (not the overgrowth they claim to have cut down but a huge plant right smack in the center of the yard).
