This lakefront home has it all - cathedral ceilings, a wall of windows facing the lake, stone fireplace, air conditioning, fully-equipped kitchen, 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, game room with 52" HDTV, quality full-sized pool table, air hockey, games, WiFi, etc. Each room has its own thermostat for your comfort. There is a portable crib for use in any of the bedrooms. The house has a hot tub located on the huge rap around deck, as well as a screened in porch, 2 boats and a dock with seating.
We have recently added a 50" smart TV in the living rm/dining room with cable TV and a number of premium channels. There is also a TV in the master bedroom with cable hookup.
Our sunsets over the lake are breathtaking!

There is a lease as well as the Big Bass Lake rental application, which will register your group with the community association. These will be sent to you by email.
We rent to groups age 25 and up. Please be considerate of our neighbors.
Also, respect our property and don't litter. Smoking is allowed on the screened in porch and deck. There are smokers for your convenience next to the front door and on the deck.

Very pleased, would rent again.
Spent a week at this lakefront chalet. We had a large group and it was very comfortable. Plenty of space. Everything worked. Thermostats in all rooms. Beds were comfortable. Private. Has wifi in good working order. Easy to find place to work if needed. 2 boats. Plenty of parking. Cannot beat the view of the lake. Another bonus is the large porch. Will rent again.

Great family vacation
This is a spacious, comfortable and well equipped house with lovely lakeside location and amenities. Comfortable beds and light-blocking drapes. The canoe and rowboat got lots of use and there is a swimming pool within 5 min drive and a lakeside beach. Plenty to do for both kids and adults with a number of state parks fairly close by. Highly recommended.

Family Gathering
We had a great extended family vacation at the lake front home. There were rooms and beds for all our family. We all enjoyed taking the rowboat and canoe around the lake and just sitting on the dock. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to prepare delicious meals for our whole crew. The kids loved the game room, and everyone enjoyed sitting on the deck or relaxing in the hot tub. Marlene was a great host and was very responsive to our needs.

Fantastic
5 couples wanted a small getaway and we rented this home. It was beautiful inside and out. The views were spectacular and the home was clean and everything that was promised was there. Only downside, nothing to do with the house, was that most attractions were 20 to 30 minutes away. Would definitely rent this home again but in the summer so we can utilize the amenities moreso. Homeowner was easily accessible via email and response time was above average.

Exactly what we were looking for
This place was perfect for my family getaway. The views are gorgeous and there's a lot to do in the area. The kids' playground was closeby. The kitchen was well stocked and all was clean. Also, the hot tub on the deck overlooking the lake was really lovely. We had such a great time. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful place to stay!!!!
My family rented this house for my 50th birthday, We have so much fun playing games at the large table near the kitchen and enjoy the game room (where we spent most of our time)!! The hot tub was a nice way to end the day. Will definitely rent it again.

Loved this place
This is the best place in the Poconos we've stayed in so far (out of 6). The lake view and woods are so calming. The owner is really nice and very responsive. We especially loved the cathedral ceilings, the huge deck with hot tub and picnic tables overlooking the lake, and the air hockey table. The kitchen is also well-stocked, and there's also a nice park nearby. Wifi worked great. We'll definitely be back.

Awesome View
The view in the backyard and from the deck is amazing. The benches at the end of the dock are a nice touch of romantic and relaxing.
The house itself is massive with 3 floors and plenty of space. Plenty of bathrooms and showers (good pressure). The heaters work great, even if you don't want to use the fireplace.
I definitely recommend this house to others and I will rent from them again.

family time
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house! We love the Big Bass lake Community and enjoyed taking part in the activities that were offered. 3 of us even won in bingo! Our car broke down on the way up to the house so the vacation didnt start off well but relaxing in the hot tub was a perfect way to sooth my stress. Every morning brought deer and turkeys and we loved sitting on the huge deck and enjoying the view. There was lenty of room for everyone to spread out and the pool table was a very popular item during our stay. we lloved the house and highly recommend it

rustic relaxation
Wonderul week in a natural setting.....loved the tree shaded canopy of the deck from which we viewed turkey, deer, blue heron and even an eagle!
The pool table and air hockey were big hits with the whole family of ten.
we all were so content that we rarely left this cozy home, but we did "do" the outlets in Tannersville and marveled at the awesome beauty of Bushkill Falls. The lake was peaceful and the water very clean.....we brought our own inflateable 4 man boat and felt very safe with the non-motor restriction. The home itself is rustic and cozy with plenty of "elbow room" for our family of 4 teenagers and 6 adults. This is not a luxury home but if enjoying nature, fresh air, breathtaking views,and convient locatation is what you are looking for we would highly reccomend this special home.Be sure to bring dish towels and dish cloths along with your personal towels...there are convience stores just outside the gated community for any needed items. Most any kitchen utensil you would need is there and the dishwsher is very effecient. The gameroom TV is super and the whole family was happy together with lots of fun things to do in that room. Some evenings we had special close up views of deer just outside the large windows.
The fishing was not good for us. We did not see anyone catching anything while we were there. The heron and the eagle may have had better luck :) All in all...everyone of us had a very speial week in Big Bass Lake

About the neighbourhood
Our lakefront home is on a lovely country road in the gated community of Big Bass Lake. It is a quiet area with many large, mature trees separating properties. The home is situated on 1 acre with front and back yards. You can fish off the dock which has seating and also from our boat. The lake view is spectacular as we are positioned close to the middle of the lake. You will enjoy viewing the sunsets from our wrap around deck or from lakeside.
There is plenty of parking in our driveway and also in our off-the-street parking space in front of the home.
Big Bass Lake is 100 acres with a beach about 3/8 mile from our home. Many people walk it, although there is parking if you wish to take your car. There is a playground for the children, picnic tables, a very large sandy area and lifeguards. There are different types boats which you can rent by the hour.
The Big Bass Lake Community also has a heated Olympic size pool, clubhouse with games, tennis, playgrounds, basketball, etc. all less than one mile from our home. Our home is 5 minutes from the beautiful Gouldsboro State Park and a short drive to many of the Poconos' finest recreation spots
Getting around
Our renters can use any of the amenities of the Big Bass Lake Community which are either a short walk or short car ride away. There is plenty of parking at the facilities.
Amenity use passes must be purchased for renters age 7 and above only if the amenities are being used. They can be purchased at the clubhouse, pool or Administration Office.
