This appartment was the perfect place to explore Hebden Bridge and West Yorkshire. The appartment is well equipped and spacious. The owners were very accommodating. The place has off street parking which is really good and is 5 minutes from the train/bus station with good links to Leeds and Manchester. It was the perfect base.

We would absolutely recommend it as a beautiful base to explore the gorgeous surroundings. The owners were incredibly helpful in their advice of what may entertain our children in the locality and they also put some much welcomed...

About the neighbourhood
Hebden Bridge is famed for its historic stacked houses and ancient packhorse bridge, the town, considered "the coolest place to live in Britain" by The Times March 2013, is a cosmopolitan mix of arts, crafts, independent shops, organic cafes and restaurants.

A huge variety of walks for all abilities, ranging from gentle woodland strolls to steep uphill rambles are on the doorstep. Hardcastle Craggs, The Pennine Way and Ancient Packhorse Trails lead you on an exploration of the local area.

From road cycling to off road trails, cyclists are spoilt for choice. If you're up for the challenge, try Cragg Vale for the longest continuous uphill incline in England and emulate the Tour de France cycling elite. The route ascends more than 270m over 8km.
