Beechdene Lodge is on the upper slopes of a wooded valley, towards the centre of a purpose built holiday village set in 20 acres of beautiful Tamar Valley countryside. The large south facing balcony deck appears to nestle among the tree tops and looks out towards the Tamar Valley in the distance, while the foliage offers extra privacy, obscuring the rooftops below.

The accommodation is arranged with 3 ground floor bedrooms - 1 double and 2 twin. The double has ensuite access to a bathroom with overbath shower, basin & WC and there is a further separate shower room with basin & WC. The kitchen and spacious living/dining area are upstairs opening at one end onto the decking.

Beechdene is well appointed, clean and has everything a family needs for a holiday. But what makes it special is its location at Honicombe. It is tucked away with commanding views of the valley between the trees but is close to the facilities, pools, the main house and games rooms. The teams who run the site are extremely friendly and accommodating and it makes for a great stay. The access to the outside and indoor pools is fantastic and the Valley Lodges are also in a ideal spot for exploring the area. The extremely magical Cotehele (National Trust) is very close by and a great market town in Tavistock. Our dog particularly liked the squirrels and rabbits that are out and about and our children the hedgehog! Good memories for all. more

My daughter and I absolutely enjoyed the accommodation, and would hope to return some time. The lodge was extremely clean with all the utilities we could possibly need - a home away from home. We had access to a heated indoor swimming pool which the girls enjoyed a lot and the gym was perfect for my needs. We were blessed with good weather which made the stay even more enjoyable, and hopefully next time we will stay slightly longer. more
